The Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is establishing a 50 Million Liters Per Day (MLD) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at a cost of ₹94.85 crores. The initiative is led by Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL) with SPML Infra Limited handling its execution.
It will provide uninterrupted, high-quality water to industrial, residential, and commercial zones using advanced filtration and purification technologies.
The plant’s development is extensive from design and construction to installation, testing, and commissioning, and includes a five-year period of operation and maintenance to ensure seamless functionality

As part of Phase 1 development, the WTP integrates with infrastructure auch as the Master Balancing Reservoir (MBR) and Elevated Storage Reservoirs (ESRs) to form a dependables, scalable water distribution network.

The Water Treatment Plant is a critical step toward achieving Dholera’s vision of becoming a self-sufficient, eco-conscious smart city.
