Dholera International Airport, a cutting-edge greenfield project, is set to transform connectivity in Gujarat, India. It is located near Navagam village in Dholera Taluka, around 80 kilometers from Ahmedabad and 20 kilometers from the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR). The 1,426-hectare airport, is built to accommodate both passenger and freight demands, facilitating the DSIR’s swift industrial and commercial expansion
The project is managed by Dholera International Airport Company Ltd. (DIACL), a joint venture comprising the Airports Authority of India (AAI) with a 51% stake, the Government of Gujarat with 33%, and the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT) holding 16%.
Expected to be operational by December 2026, the airport will enhance domestic and international connectivity, fueling trade, tourism, and economic opportunities while establishing Dholera as a global investment destination
