AHEMDABAD-DHOLERA EXPRESSWAY

The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, expected to become operational by early 2025, is all set to transform how people travel between Ahmedabad and Dholera. Stretching over 109 kilometers, this 4-lane expressway will reduce the travel time to just 40-45 minutes, making the journey faster, smoother, and more convenient.

This expressway is a vital part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). It starts at the Sardar Patel Ring Road near Sarkhej in Ahmedabad and stretches all the way to Adhelai village in Bhavnagar district, passing right through the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), making it more accessible and attractive to investors, businesses, and residents.

Dholera, with its vision of becoming India’s first greenfield smart city, has always held massive potential, and this expressway is set to bring that vision closer to reality. By cutting travel time and creating seamless connectivity, the expressway will act as a bridge between Ahmedabad’s bustling cityscape and Dholera’s growing opportunities.

The construction cost of this expressway is ₹4373cr, which reflects the government’s commitment to creating world-class infrastructure.
